Prev Next Nightlight Dreamer No. 0012 Listen, about a month ago I had a nightmare...I don't remember specifics, because nightmares can be traumatizing. That said, I have been sleeping with my desktop lamp on ever since...seriously. Now to what I do remember about my nightmare...there was a dark force, blackness that restricted my breathing. I do recall screaming, I know it was audible because that was when I woke up. I immediately turned on my desk lamp and went back to sleep. Why? Because I had stopped sleeping in the dark decades ago, and only returned to it to keep my electricity bills lower. My advice to anyone, don't sleep in the dark if you don't have to. A cat appeared behind the post and I smiled because I love cats. After this a dog appeared right next to the cat and I frowned because I don't like dogs. Then all different types of animals, including more cats kept appearing behind the fence until I couldn't see anything but animals. The animals then tried to get through the holes in the fence to try to get into my house. I ran into the house to try to barricade the windows and doors to keep the animals out. I struggled to keep them out and one of the dogs somehow entered the house. After it got in, it seemed that one by one the other animals managed to get in the house to. I frantically ran throughout the house looking for a place to hide from the animals that were now freely roaming the house in search of me. I woke up and I was totally shaken. END OF TRANSCRIPT. Reflection Dreamer No. 0133 I stood staring into an old, cracked mirror at my grandmother’s old house. At first, my reflection copied my every move, but then it smiled an unnatural, jagged grin I didn’t make. Slowly, the figure in the glass raised a hand and pressed it against the inside of the mirror like it was trying to touch me. I tried to back away, but my feet wouldn’t move. With a sickening crack, the glass began to splinter outward, and my reflection stepped through, staring at me with evil eyes. Then my reflection turned into my grandmother, sweet and kind, and tried to give me a hug. When I hugged her, she squeezed me so hard and her nails began digging into my flesh. I was so scared I woke up in a sweat and thought about the scary dream for days. END OF TRANSCRIPT. Teeth Dreamer No. 0159 I have dreams where my teeth start falling out of my mouth, and I'm cringing just thinking about this now. What usually happens is that, in the dream, I feel something hard rolling around in my mouth. I put my hand in my mouth and find that I've lost a large tooth (the size always frightens me even more). I start to panic and hope that the tooth loss won't be noticeable, but when I rush to a mirror, I can easily see that my mouth looks different. The feelings are so vivid and real, and, even worse, I usually have the thought in my dream that "This is real life. I can't believe I've dreamed this so many times, and this is actually happening to me now. I can't believe I won't wake up, that this is reality." In some or most "tooth dreams," the sensation repeats, and I find that I've lost another, or several more, teeth. I'm usually crying in my dream, and when I wake up, I find that I was actually crying in real life, too, and have tears rolling down my face. END OF TRANSCRIPT. Closet Dreamer No. 0212 I was in my walk-in closet and in the back of my mind, I was told that due to a recent event, dead relatives will reappear that night in our closet. It was toward evening and I was standing in my walk-in closet. I was in front of a rack of mostly dark puffer jackets. I started to see the jacket move as if something from behind it is coming out. I was terrified and could barely move my feet backward as a figure in a blue/purple sleeping bag emerged. END OF TRANSCRIPT.
